October 2013 Jack Walsh

The B&O Railroad Museum is please to recognize Jack Walsh as the October 2013 Volunteer of the Month.

This is Jack’s third time as Volunteer of the Month in his 4 years of service to the museum. He receives the award this time for his efforts in two big projects here at the museum. First, he has been working with the help of our paid staff to clean and organize the South Car Shop. This area is not open to the public but contains our equipment, tools, and supplies for both our facility maintenance and rail operations department. He also was a great deal of help preparing the items for sale at our Yard Sale in September. This was a great help to our paid staff.

Jack, thank you for sharing your time, talents, kindness, and love for history.   We are so fortunate to have you on our team! We could not do it without you!
