Volunteer of the Month: John Rose

The B&O is losing one of its best and most knowledgeable volunteers this month. We would like to thank and recognize John Rose as the March 2013 Volunteer of the Month.

John joined us in 2008 and quickly showed his knowledge and love for railroading. He is a regular docent on Mondays and Fridays. Along with this, he is also one of our conductors for our train ride on Fridays and any of our big events such as Steam Days and Day Out With Thomas. His is moving to Louisiana so the commute to volunteer is a little too much.

John, thank you for sharing your time, talents, kindness, and love for history.   We are so fortunate to have you on our team! You will always be a part of our family and always welcome here. We are glad you chose to volunteer and share your time with us.
