President Franklin Roosevelt
The B&O's Dining Car staff had ample opportunity to serve American
Presidents. Given the B&O's access to the Nation's Capital and
recognized for its premiere trains and refined service, many of
America's leaders traveled on the B&O. Today's image is from March
of 1945 and heralds the crew of B&O Diner No. 1066 who served as the
dining crew for President Franklin Roosevelt's west coast trip.
